I have followed many paths over my career 25 years as an analyst and commercial accountant, 15 years as a small business owner with optometrist husband David, dalliances into running a guest house, an assistant chef in a French ski resort, cooking for a British pub and years of waitressing. Not to mention the biggest job of them all – being a mother to three crazy kids aged 15,13 and 10. But it is the love of good food that has brought about this decision to start my newest venture, Cooked Toowoomba.
I have a little dish that my mum gave me years ago next to my kitchen sink. The message reads – “Follow your Bliss” and as I put my rings in it every day to cook or do the washing up it reminds me that doing something I love every day must be the right path to choose. So I love to cook, I love good healthy food, I love knowing that my family is eating well and I love to organise. Cooked Toowoomba fulfils all that I love, and hopefully makes my customer’s lives a bit easier too.
