ABC1, 8.35pm

A TEAM of British education experts tackles behavioural problems in schools by recruiting troublesome students to take part in a ground-breaking experiment in this new series.

After shipping the attitude-prone kids to the countryside, former teacher of the year Phil Beadle (pictured) explains the theories behind his less conventional teaching methods a pointing game called "Dickhead" and Punctuation Kung Fu.

Watching the mostly "physically intelligent" kids respond to him is the stuff the best underdog-beats-the-odds films are made of, but it doesn't take an expert to see it's going to be a rough ride until the final credits.

ELI STONE

Prime, 8.30pm

THIS surprisingly fun, if far-fetched, success story of the non-ratings period wraps up with another epiphany.

But this time, it's Dr Chen's.

As Nathan struggles with the decision to switch off Eli's life support, Dr Chen pleads with him to wait.

NIGGER LOVERS

ABC1, 9.30pm

STEPHEN Hagan and his family fight to get the word "nigger" removed from the name of a sportsground stand in Toowoomba, in this award-winning documentary.

The E. S. "Nigger" Brown Stand was named in honour of a talented local rugby league player.

Former indigenous Australian of the year Hagan fights to remove the derogatory word from the sign, despite death threats.
